For I Know The Plans

Most Christians know and love the verse Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that.” - what a great verse to bring comfort when we are confused by the way life unfolds at times....it is crucial to note, though, that in the previous verses, Israel is also told they will be exiled in Babylon for another 70 years before this promise is fulfilled! We all love to claim God’s promises but often want to skip the part where we have to wait on God’s perfect timing! I think a real key is found in the much lesser know verse 13, “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Our seeking cannot be half-hearted. Choosing to use God to help when we are hurting, discouraged or confused is understandable but imagine what He has for us, if we truly sought His Presence with all of our heart, soul and strength! #outdoorministry #askseekknock #disciple
